April April 16 1.Presentation by Joyce Miller PUSD Technology Specialist: How to integrate Smart board into your Reading Workshop Key Points of this presentation
How to step up the Smartboard Joyce Provided several samples of grade level appropriate: Test Prep, Word Study, and High Frequency word practice for grade k-3 Joyce provided us with several lesson. Rosado will distribute the flash drive amongst the team to download the resources. 2.Observations Vazirian is going to observe Alvarado's Special Ed integration program Varirian has agreed to pilot this type of program at Lexington with Alicia Decker There are plans to expand this to, Carmen Thompson(special ed teacher) and Amy Rosado 3. Business, Continue to reflect on what we have been doing and begin to write down ideas that you would like included in our final report. The team will agree to open classrooms or take pictures themselves of their progress in implementation March 7, 2012
Claudette has agreed to take photos of the classrooms if needed

Examples:
Students work samples, Students engaged in workshop, Classroom Library

Each participant is going to write a brief reflection about their experience Rosado will compile the work and put it together for the end of year report

PUSD has informed the team some subs. work at different daily rates
Reminder Reimbursement forms need to be sent in by May 11. Members that have not spent money need to do so by Spring Break March 26-30.

4. April meeting will combine Smart board Training and Word Study. We will have Joyce Miller helping to integrate technology into our work we are already doing.

Next Meeting March 7, 2012 will be a working meeting as we grade and discuss the work Primary spelling Inventory.
